Nicole’s Story

20 12 2009

Watch the story about a young 13 year old girl Nicole who gave up her Christmas gifts so others could have more clean water.  Westside learned about Nicole last year during our Advent Conspiracy series.  Nicole died at the end of 2008 and her life continues to make an impact for people in villages that still need clean water.

MY LIFE STORY

11 12 2009

We’ve just finished a series in our Sunday gatherings retelling the whole biblical story.  We often call it God’s story because it’s the story of God’s rescue mission for a world longing for meaning, purpose, healthy relationships, and redemption.  It’s a great story.

BUT it forces another question.  What story am I living?

Is it possible that we can choose to live a better story?

This Sunday we explore that question, because honestly, we all long to live a great story.

See you on Sunday, 10:30AM.

Don’t forget that our CHRISTMAS GATHERING is happening the following Sunday, December 20th.  Don’t miss it.  Invite some friends.

Advent Conspiracy: Christmas can be better!

Last year WESTSIDE participated in the ADVENT CONSPIRACY by donating over 2500$ to Living Water International.  This movement has inspired us to…

Spend Less
Give More
Worship Fully
Love All

WESTSIDE will be collecting funds again this year, so together, we can make an impact in our efforts to give more & love all.

HERE’S ALL THE INFO YOU NEED

Here’s a look at the combined impact from many people’s and church’s involvement with Advent Conspiracy in 2008:

This week-end The Story continues with chapter 3 – PROMISE.

Important News for the week-end:
1. Sunday is the last day to drop off Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes
2. Weekly food collection for West Island Mission is available every Sunday
3. come ready to encounter God through his story, but also connect with people and in their story (we purposefully make time in our gathering for both those priorities)
